Really really nice stay, I will definitely visit place for next time.
the breakfast is delicious and savoury, offered with marinated salads, buns and olives and served in the restaurant. the rooms are stylish and brand-new for better wifi and the staff are gentle.

The stuff were very friendly, the rooms very clean, with new furniture and nicely decoration. Very good location, near from the principal monuments in old part of the town.
I only miss the scrambles eggs at breakfast, but love the classic music!

The room was clean. The location good. Easy to navigate around the old part of the city.
The coffee was a little bland at breakfast. But nothing major.

I had a very very good experience here, everything was fine, the location was best possible not far from Gulhane park, the ferry station, Sirkeci train station and the tram line as well as Taksim and other parts of Istanbul. The room was brand-new with comfortable bed and the staff very professional and well-trained...

1) A small charm is given as a present upon arrival 2) Very nice decoration 3) Free coffee or tea is provided while you are waiting at the lobby since the hotel has no bar or coffee shop 4) A nice present is given to you on your departure
1) The tea and coffee provided in the room are not updated daily if you use something then you have to wait 2 days to be refilled. 2) At minibar the situation is the same. 3) The breakfast has the same things twice and is always the same (home made marmalade and packed marmalade for what if the flavour is the same) 4) The plants in the hotel lobby are not well presented dry and in plastic pots the same pots that they use in a greenhouse it doesn’t actually match with the expensive furniture and the decoration 5) No bin in the room except the toilet 6) The toilet amenities provided are having another hotels name on the pack and if usedare not replaced.(exept soap) 7) Despite the perfect decoration 2 horrible plastic dears are p

Very welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. The location is perfect - very close to all the main attractions of Istanbul, only a couple of minutes to the tram station and only 5 minutes to the Bosphorus and all the ferries. The setting is in a quiet small street with a friendly atmosphere with restaurants and shops around the corner but off the main road/tramline. The restaurant right opposite the hotel was especially good and very good value for money. The room was beautifully decorated with a large comfortable bed and immaculately clean. There was free use of a safe in the room which proved very useful. Breakfast is the standard turkish breakfast of a few hot items but mainly breads and fruits etc but proved plenty for us to start the day. I would definitely recommend this hotel for an Istanbul visit.

Hi, I based my hotel choose on opinion in Booked.net and it's in general work! I stayed in very nice hotel in Malysia and Italy thanks to all people accepting to give their opinion in booking it helps a lot... This time with Maywood hotel, I found that more than 800 persons recommand this hotel but unfortunatly when I stayed there, I was suprised how can this big number of people give high rate to really a "modest" hotel. -It's not an hotel but a small building. -I didn't enjoy my breakfast there, because of mosquitos (please verify near fruit corner) -Rooms are very very small I advice you to book in a real hotel with a big number of rooms and not to focus to be near sultanahmed area or even Taksim because you will need to visit these areas only one or two times ; there is other many areas to visit in istanbul (bosphurus, islands, malls, ...)
